Terms and conditions
All equipment remains the property of Rob Van Helden Floral Design Ltd.
Payment must be made on or before collection or delivery.
Payment can be made by bank transfer, credit/debit card or cash.
The hirer is responsible for insuring goods from the time of acceptance until returned to our premises.
Queries on goods received must be notified within 24 hours.
All goods will be hired out clean and ready to use. If they are returned dirty, a washing charge of 25% of hire charge will be made.
After items have been returned and checked by our staff, shortages or damaged goods will be charged at replacement cost. Customer goods cannot be accepted as replacement.
Prices quoted are for 4 days hire only and are subject to V.A.T.
Items returned late, are subject to an additional charge.
Extended hire terms/ charges are available on request.
All boxes or crates to be returned dry and intact.Any missing boxes or crates will be charged at a replacement cost.
Any deliveries made by us or courier will be to main door, ground level entrance, unless pre-arranged. An additional charge will be added in respect of waiting time should the driver be delayed or detained while attempting to deliver or collect.
Rob Van Helden Floral Design Ltd. is under no liability whatsoever for any injury or damage to persons or property or loss of profit claimed by the hirer in respect of any interruptions, delays, inaccuracies, errors, omissions or any failure to deliver or from the use of any equipment under hire.
Rob Van Helden Floral Design Limited ("we" or "us") is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy, and to keeping your personal data safe and confidential.
This policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, is processed by us.
Information we collect from you
We collect and process the following data in order to be able to send you quotes, orders and invoices: Company name (if applicable), named contact, billing address, phone number(s), billing email address.
To provide you with an account, we also store the above data as well as your encrypted password plus a record of your orders.
We also collect and process the following data in order to be able to deliver your orders and collect them afterwards: Date of your event, Company name, venue name, named contact and mobile number on site, address for delivery and collection
Emails sent to our Company email addresses or via our website are stored as correspondence so that we may answer your enquiry..
Sending data via the internet is never entirely secure, and although we will do our best to protect your personal data once we have received it, we cannot guarantee the security of your data whilst in transmission. Once we receive your information, we use procedures and systems designed to try to prevent unauthorised access wherever possible. All information you provide to us via the website is stored on our secure servers; all data we process within our office is protected with a secure network.
Disclosure of your information
We will not disclose your information to any third parties unless strictly necessary. For the purposes of providing your quotes and orders, and to meet our legal obligations, we may from time to time need to share the data we hold with service providers and the suppliers who provide and maintain our systems, the venues and associate suppliers for your event, payment service providers, our accountants and if necessary our solicitors; plus any authority if required to by law, or if disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Jones Hire Limited, our staff, customers and suppliers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
Marketing & Information updates
You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes, such as using information you supply to us to provide you with new product announcements and other information we believe may be of interest to you (e.g. seasonal opening hours, and occasional key site updates), currently announced via our occasional newsletters. We will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processes by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org. We will then cease to process your data where the law allows as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days.
Access to information
You have the right to access information held about you, and can exercise this right in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
